Blog #2: The Purpose of Government

The three main purposes provided by a government are to maintain order, to protect private property, and to provide public goods. Since politics is refered to as the conflicts and struggles over the leadership, structure, and policies of government, politics therefore impedes the progress of government. When everyone is not on the same page, the progress will be slowered and turmoil may arise.
